CXCS has been inundated with clients receiving inspections for various governing bodies, the majority being carried out by the EA.
Those receiving EA inspections are mostly farmers with dairy, poultry and/or Anaerobic Digester enterprises, with the majority of client inspections taking place in Herefordshire.
This is all following last year’s announcement by DEFRA that a further 50 plus staff would be employed to join the EA’s inspection team.
We were notified of 16 EA client inspections in February alone. See our ‘inspection heatmap’ pictured above, for visual representation of all client inspections we’re aware of.
We are asking all clients who receive notification of an inspection to contact us promptly with the contact details for the inspector, so that we can ensure records are up to date before we send them electronically to the inspector, ensuring a smoother inspection process for all involved.
