Dairy farmers in England who have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, can now apply for funding to provide help and support.

Farmers with a 2019 BPS claim worth more than €2,000 will receive a reimbursement from the 2018 FDM fund, with payments being made from 1 July 2020.

Rural businesses have been encouraged to apply for a new start-up grant that will support up to 2,000 firms in Wales with £2,500 each.

A recent update to the COVID-19 guidance on the Rural Payments Agency website states that they are planning a phased return to on-farm visits and site inspections.
