Applications for 2022 grassland derogations for livestock manure in NVZs can be made from 1st to 28th February

Defra is moving to a rolling application window for the rest of the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme.

The Farming Transformation Fund Farm Productivity Grant opens today (January 19th) for applications.

Farmers are to be given 6 more months to access free business advice which will explain how the changes happening to farming will affect them and help them to prepare.

Defra has reviewed Countryside Stewardship revenue payment rates based on current costs and made changes. The new rates will apply to all Countryside Stewardship agreements from 1 January 2022.
