HSE inspectors are out and about spot checking employers to ensure that they are adhering to health and safety law. Inspectors are prioritising farms, primary producers and packing stations/ distribution centres.
Additional Health and Safety measures are required to help limit the spread of coronavirus infection including additional risk assessments. You need to ensure that you are pro-active, actionable and measurable to comply with Health and safety legislation, including your responsibilities as an employer, surrounding Covid-19.

Not only do you need to protect employees but you also need to protect the Health and Safety of anyone who comes into contact with your premises.
