It is imperative the BPS submission is as accurate as possible. When calculating your BPS claim value, an ‘over declaration’ of eligible land will be noted as a penalty and a percentage reduction will be applied to your total payment. Greening penalties are also a possibility, if the correct percentages haven’t been worked out for crop diversification or the amount of ecological focus area falls short of what is required.

Once all the information has been collated, we draft up the BPS form and email/post a draft copy out to you, so you can check the form prior to submission.

After the claim has been submitted a final ‘submitted BPS’ copy and submission receipt are sent out for your own reference. Even though the main BPS form filling times are between March and May annually, we are at hand at any point during the calendar year to advise and look over any BPS items
