A farmyard inspection is the integral starting point to our service. All silage, slurry and fuel oil must comply with the SSAFO regulations. Stacks of manure or silage, if not covered, will produce polluted material/effluent which must be kept out of ditches and drains. If you fail to follow the rules and take care to avoid causing pollution, you can be prosecuted and fined up to £5,000 in a Magistrates Court or get an unlimited fine in the Crown Court. Storage facilities and pollution risks will be closely examined by our experienced staff, with feedback and advice given if further help is required.
